Description
Brad directed me to the bug tracker. Thought I'd throw some stuff I found in the 1.2 release.
In the forums, someone mentioned that the admin config file needed to be used, however it does not if it's done via SQL loading.
Issue: Group Permissions were set for all for owner (including root), and did not filter down properly until you manually edited the client.
All permissions were granted for both web admin and server admin at this point, and just by adding an admin into the proper groups admins could not access the admin menu in SM.
Issue: Bans issued by other admins could not be deleted or edited by Owner with root flag and access, and vice-versa with non-owner/root access.
Issue: Dark template provided by selection does not display proper icons. (i.e. OS/VAC/Mod)
From the dashboard, selecting a server goes to the server tab. It then drops down to retrieve players, however it cannot call to retrieve the players.
I think that's it.

What version are you using? It sounds like something's wrong with your install.

I'm using 1.2.0.
Nothing seems to be wrong with the install, just these few things I noticed with it.
I run a total of 8 servers, and I had to import bans. At this point, I couldn't unban them, because the person who issued the ban is only able to, even if I have root admin, and everything. Can't create a CONSOLE person, since it was using Peace-Maker's importbans.php file.

But what revision are you using? Be sure to use the latest, as many bugs has been corrected since the official 1.2.0 release.

yea..
There are a few more things to sort, then we will build a new release package.

could you try the permission problem again with the latest revision 118?

Hi,
I got the file downloaded. It's just that one php file correct? What else do I need to do to install it? Just drag and drop?
Let me know.
Thanks!
Is there an easier way to download all the revisions and/or files? I'm still stuck on the 1.2.0 base release, and I noticed there is an RC3, and would like to try that. Any package somewhere with all these fixes including new updates?

Well, I put the file in there, cause I assume that was the only one with the update. It generated an huge table error. I put the old file back in place, and all is well again. But, I do notice that the web admin permissions are fixed, and I can unban the imported bans now correctly, and what not. So, I'm not sure what I did wrong, or if I'm going to need to update to RC3 at all.
But, when I choose to create a new admin, and select the proper Server Admin group for "Full Permissions", meaning everything was checked, it never added those flags to that admin at all. So, I had to manually do it. Any fix for that?
Any help would be greatly appreciated for these two problems.
Thanks!

Did you add the admin with the servergroup "Full Permissions" and no permissions for the webgroup? or which combination did you use?
you can't update to RC3 at all now. its a complete rewrite and isnt finished yet. just watch the trunk folder for updates;) you could use tortoisesvn to check out the newest svn releases. but this isn't always stable ;)
